Ringwood Bowling Club

On Wednesday, the sun turned up to bathe the green in glorious sunshine for Derick Faulkner's NFBA Presidents Day. Representatives from NFBA Clubs and NFBA dignitaries enjoyed a great afternoon of good bowling. After the games, a sumptuous spread was devoured by the combatants which was wonderfully prepared by Ringwood Ladies. A big thank you to the Ladies and Derick for making the day a wonderful occasion.

Congratulations to Ringwood Ladies who have two teams through into the NFWBA Cox’s 2 wood pairs Finals, to be played at Lymington in September.

Thursday 15th July. NFBA Men's A Team Away versus New Milton A. A great win away from home lifts the A team up a place. Rinks 1 - 3. Shots 55 - 78. Points 1 - 7.

Thursday 15th July. NFBA Men's B Team at Home versus Lymington A. The B team drop one place after losing by 5 shots. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 62 - 67. Points 2 - 6.

Saturday 17th July . B&DBA Triples 1st Team at Home versus Branksome Park. A rare loss at home drops the 1st team down to second. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 57 - 81. Points 4 - 10.

Saturday 17th July. B&DBA Triples A Team Away versus Argyll A. A tough afternoon down on the coast leaves the A team third from bottom. Rinks 3 - 1. Shots 68 - 54. Points 12 - 2.
