Congratulations and Well Done to the following.
 
Mark Brocklebank, Steve Van Wyk, Derrick Fulker and Peter Ward are the Bowls Hampshire Senior Fours Champions. Today, Sunday 21st July, they won their Final against Cove at Banister Park 17 - 10. They now go on to play in the 2024 Aviva National Senior Fours Finals at Leamington Spa starting on Tuesday 27th August.
 
Sadly today, Sunday 21st July, Ringwood Ladies lost there Bowls Hampshire Thornbery Trophy match against Moordown.
 
On Wednesday, the Ringwood Mixed Top Club Team won on the Braeside carpet and play away, in the next round, against Highcliffe on Friday 26th July at 6.00pm.
 
Sharon Varndell and Dan Cookman have won their Bowls England Family Pairs Hampshire Area Final against Brent Riste (Portsmouth Water (Men) 21 - 16. They next play Max Beaman & Pat Brown (Plessey, Isle of Wight) in the All-England Round of 32, at a Neutral Green, by Monday 29th July
 
Peter Ward defeated Chris Daniels (Boscombe Cliff) 21 - 6 in his Bowls England Men's Senior Singles - Hampshire (Mid/West) Area Semi Final. The Area Final, against Paul Sidwell (Folland), is to be played by Wednesday 31st August on a neutral green. 
Peter sadly lost his Bowls England Men's Champion of Champions - Hampshire (Mid/West) Area Final by one shot to Alan B. Forrest (Fleming Park), 21-20.
 
Peter Ward, Dan Cookman, Sharon Varndell and Carol Broomfield sadly lost their Bowls England Mixed Fours Hampshire / Isle of Wight Area Final against Nick Hardy's Team (Alton Social) 19 - 8.
 
One Ringwood team is guaranteed to play in the Bowls Hampshire Men's 2 Wood Triples Final on the 12th August after the teams of Neil Richmond / Stephen Hill / John Sanderson and Derrick Fulker / Derrick Faulkner / Steve Van Wyk play each other, in the 3rd Round, on Monday 5th August.

Following his performances in Wales last year, Dan Cookman has again been selected to play for Bowls England in the Junior International Series to be held at Belmont BC, Belfast, Ireland, on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September.

Tuesday 16th July. NFWBA Ladies Team at Home versus Highcliffe. The Ladies hit the mark again, following last weeks rest, with a second consecutive maximum points winRinks 2 - 0. Shots 47 - 21. Points 6 - 0.

Tuesday 16th July. NFBA Men's 1st Team at Home versus Lyndhurst. Back to winning ways for the 1st Team but with only two games left will need a big win in the next match against leaders Fordingbridge, Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 72 - 59. Points 6 - 2.

Thursday 18th July. B&DWBA Ladies Team at Home versus Argyll. A close game but the ladies prevail with maximum points to stay top by 12 points. Rinks 2 - 0. Shots 33 - 28. Points 6 - 0.

Thursday 18th July. NFBA Men's A Team BYE No Match.

Thursday 18th July. NFBA Men's B Team at Home versus Totton & Eling A. A very close exciting game but the B Team came second. A couple of good wins in their last two matches should see them climb up the table. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 33 - 36. Points 1 - 3.

Saturday 20th July. B&DBA Mixed B Team at Home versus Pelhams Sea Hawks. Another close game for the B Team but still lose out on the win. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 30 - 32. Points 2 - 4.

Saturday 20th July. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team Away versus New Milton. The 1st Team drop down to 5th after this disastrous visit to New Milton Rinks 2 - 1. Shots 71 - 19. Points 8 - 2.

Saturday 20th July. B&DBA Mixed A Team at Home versus Milford on Sea A. The A Team jump back up to 4th after this good win and lie only 7 points off of 2nd place. Rinks 2.5 - 0.5. Shots 58 - 37. Points 9 - 1.
