Congratulations and Well Done to the following.
 
Sharon Varndell, Helen Blackiston and Carol Broomfield who are the Bowls Hampshire Triples Champions, defeating the New Milton trio of Chris Cooke, Alison Bremner and Sandy Elder. They go on to play in the All England Triples Championship at Royal Leamington Spa, on the 17th August, where they will play Pam Icke, Carol Sorrell & Lesley Wood (Pershore, Worcestershire) in the Preliminary round.
 
Peter Ward and Dan Cookman are the Bowls Hampshire Pairs Champions defeating the Basingstoke Town pairing of Zac Miller & Adam White. They go on to play in the All England Pairs Championship at Royal Leamington Spa, on the 18th August, where they will face Jaxon McKenna and David Bolt (Silksworth, Durham) in the Preliminary round.
 
Eleven Ringwood Bowling Club members took place in the Bournemouth Open during the week. The member who progressed the furthest was Mark Brocklebank who, partnered with David Kerr, won their Open Pairs Section but sadly lost in the Semi Final to Mike Hutley and Ben Pauley.

Tuesday 30th July. NFWBA Ladies Team at Home versus Braeside. The Ladies maintain their 4 point lead, at the top of the table, with another superb maximum points win. Rinks 2 - 0. Shots 35 - 11. Points 6 - 0.

Tuesday 30th July. NFBA Men's 1st Team at Home versus New Milton.The 1st Team cling on to 2nd place, by way of shots difference, despite a whitewash in this last game of the League season. Rinks 0 - 4. Shots 45 - 82. Points 0 - 8.

Thursday 1st August. B&DWBA Ladies Team Away versus Ferndown 2. This match, postponed from the 25th July, was an exciting close encounter but the Ladies lose by just one shot. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 24 - 23. Points 4 - 2.

Thursday 1st August. NFBA Men's A Team Away versus Lymington A. Sadly, the A Team are relegated, coming bottom at the end of a poor season in which only 2 matches were won. The last game of the league season was also lost to a team who are also relegated. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 68 - 46. Points 6 - 2.

Thursday 1st August. NFBA Men's B Team at Home versus Waterside B. The B team bounce back with a well needed, one shot, win in their last match of the league season, leaving them in 7th place. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 37 - 36. Points 3 - 1.

Saturday 3rd August. B&DBA Mixed Teams No B&DBA Matches due to Bournemouth Open Week.
