Sadly, this years Jack Attack Tournament has been cancelled. There were too few names to make it a viable competition. 
 
With only 2 weeks to go before the Club Finals Day it is very important to know who the finalists are so that the playing schedule can be compiled. As the play-by date for all Semi Finals has passed, could those who are still in competition and have not yet played Semi Finals, please play them ASAP. Also, please advise Doug Jones of the result/s ASAP after playing on 07708 333298.

Congratulations and Well Done to the following.
 
On Tuesday, Helen Blackiston & Christine Pentelow won their Semi Final match in the Bowls Hampshire Golden Girls competition, at Banister Park, against Sue Milton & Cathy Hopwood (Andover), 18 - 12. Sadly however, they lost in the final to Sue Brightman and Pat Macrae (Milton Park Ladies), 23 - 10.
 
Derrick Fulker, Neil Richmond, Derick Faulkner and Sub have won through to play in the NFBA Fours Final at Downton on the 1st September.
 
Sadly, Peter Ward and Sharon Varndell lost their Bowls England Mixed Pairs All-England Round of 32 match against Walter Hume & Penny Cresswell (Dorset), 19 - 15.

Tuesday 6th August. NFWBA Ladies Team Away versus New Milton 1. The Ladies stretch their lead to 6 points, after a good win away from home. However, the ladies have played one game more than chasing Milford on Sea. Shots 23 - 28. Points 2 - 4.

Tuesday 6th August. NFBA Men's 1st Team Home & Away versus Waterside. The 1st Team fail at the first hurdle in the President's Trophy. They will now play in the Totton & Eling Shield against Waterside A. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 45 - 64.

Thursday 8th August. B&DWBA Ladies Team BYE. No Match.

Thursday 8th August. NFBA Men's A Team Home & Away versus New Milton C. A great win for the A Team in the 1st Round of the Ringwood Shield. In the next round they play West Moors A. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 66 - 55.

Saturday 10th August. B&DBA Mixed B Team at Home versus Richmond Park Panthers. The B Team climb out of the relegation zone with this much needed win. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 42 - 36. Points 4 - 2.

Saturday 10th August. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team Away versus Braeside. This great performance and maximum points win raises the 1st Team up one place to 4th in the table. Rinks 0 - 3. Shots 40 - 57. Points 0 - 10.

Saturday 10th August. B&DBA Mixed A Team at Home versus Boscombe Cliff B. The A Team stay in 4th place after this good win and are only 2 points behind 2nd place Milford on Sea. Rinks 2 - 1. Shots 56 - 45. Points 8 - 2.

Sunday 18th August. BE Women's Triples Championship 1st & 2nd Rounds at Royal Leamington Spa. 9.15am start.
