Weekly Bulletin 8th September

Congratulations and Well Done to the following.
 
The Autumn Triples Final took place on Monday and the team of Hilary Edge, Debbie Senior and Barry Vaughan were victorious over Chris Dalrymple, Dave Lewis and Geoff Robins, 16 - 10.
 
Derick Faulkner and Derrick Fulker won their B&DBA Over 65's Pairs Semi Final, 21-17, against Brian Gordon with Charlie Munden (Boscombe Cliff). In the Final, on the 15th September at Meyrick Park, they play against Mike Barron and Brendan Sullivan (Branksome Park).

Tuesday 3rd September. NFWBA Ladies Team BYE. No match .

Thursday 5th September. B&DWBA Ladies Team Away versus Southbourne 2. This match was called off because of the heavy rain. Both teams agreed to share the points.

Saturday 7th September. B&DBA Mixed B Team at Home versus Lyndhurst Lasers. A very tough game against the league leaders, who took all the honours in this last game of the season, resulting sadly in relegation for the B Team. Rinks 0 - 2. Shots 28 - 37. Points 0 - 6.

Saturday 7th September. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team at Home versus Boscombe Cliff. The 1st Team finish the season in 4th place after a rain affected game, shortened to 14 ends, against the League Champions. Rinks ½ - 2½. Shots 30 - 45. Points 1 - 9.

Saturday 7th September. B&DBA Mixed A Team Away versus Bournemouth B. The A team found it tough in the rain on a heavy track but held on to a creditable 3rd place in the league. Rinks 2 - 1. Shots 60 - 43. Points 8 - 2.

Sunday 15th September. B&DBA Finals Day at Meyrick Park. 10.30am start. Featuring Derick Faulkner and Derrick Fulker versus Mike Barron and Brendan Sullivan (Branksome Park) at 10:30am.

Sunday 15th September. BE Junior International Series, Day 2, at Belmont BC, Belfast, Ireland, featuring Dan Cookman. England versus Scotland.

Sunday 15th September. The Green Closes at 6.00pm
