It is with great sadness that I have to report that Brian Terry passed away on 15th March 2025.
Brian was a renowned, extremely popular player and active officer of the club holding many posts during the years including, 2nd & 3rd Team's Captain, General Secretary, Vice president and President.
Although Brian stopped playing before Covid, he continued to be a member and was granted Life Membership in 2019.
The following is the email that Chris Dalrymple received from Brian's daughter, Claire.
'Hello,
I am the daughter of Brian Terry.
It is with regret that I let you know that Dad passed away on 15th March 2025 in Bournemouth Hospital of pneumonia.
Dad really missed his bowling and whilst his health was declining he had recently purchased a mobility scooter so that he could attend home games during the upcoming season and was really looking forward to the weather improving so that he could get out and about.
The funeral is at Bournemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 12:30 in the small chapel should anyone wish to attend.
