AUSSIE PAIRS

This year's Aussie Pairs Competition will start a little earlier this year as Debbie is away towards the end of August.

This year's  dates are, 
Friday 24th July
Friday 31st July
Friday 7th August
Friday 14th August

all at the start time of 5.00pm

A Minimum of 16 entries is needed to run the competition and entrants need to be available for at least 3 out of the 4 weeks.

Reserves will also be required.

A notice will be put on the club notice board during this coming week for names to be added.
Players will be drawn on Monday 20th July after that evening's Harry Wright matches.

On Monday, a Ringwood BC Men's Fours team, headed by Leon Pope,
sadly lost their Bowls Hampshire West Area-2 Final, against Chris Daniels (Boscombe Cliff), 10 - 20.

The 50/50 Club winner for Saturday 4th July is Amanda Smith with No.1 Well Done Amanda.
Next Saturday, 11th July, is the start of the next round of 50/50.

Tuesday 30th June. NFWBA League A - Ladies Team Away versus Waterside 2.  Result unknown but the Ladies reside in 2nd place, on equal points with league leaders New Milton Foxes, because of an inferior shots difference. Rinks ? - ?.  Shots ?? - ??. Points ? - ?.

Tuesday 30thJune. NFBA Division 1 - Men's 1st Team at Home versus New Milton. Another good win for the 1st Team keeps them in 2nd place, 10 points adrift of League leaders Highcliffe. Rinks 3 - 1.  Shots 69 - 56. Points 7 - 1.

Wednesday 1st July. NFBA Division 3 - Men's A Team at Home versus Milford on Sea. This match,  postponed from 25th June, was a tough one against the League leaders but the A Team came away with 1 point, which keeps them in 6th spot. Rinks 1 - 3.  Shots 73 - 82. Points 1 - 7.

Thursday 2nd July. B&DWBA Triples 1 - Ladies Team at Home versus Moordown. A maximum points win keeps the Ladies in 4th place, only 1 Point below the 2nd and 3rd Teams. Rinks 2 - 0.  Shots 43 - 34. Points 6 - 0.

Thursday 2nd July. NFBA Division 3 - Men's A Team Away versus Lymington A. A tough battle for the A Team on a difficult track but they come away with 1½ points to keep them just above the Drop Zone. Rinks 2½ - 1½.  Shots 74 - 56. Points 6.5 - 1.5.

Saturday 4th July. B&DBA Triples 4 - Morning Mixed B Team Away versus Poole Park Mallards. Despite losing this match to a strong Poole Park team, the B Team stay mid table in 5th place. Rinks 2 - 0.  Shots 47 - 15. Points 6 - 0.

Saturday 4th July. B&DBA Premier 2 - Mixed 1st Team  Away versus New Milton A. Another big win for the 1st Team keeps them in top place by 19 Points. Rinks 0 - 3.  Shots 38 - 74. Points 0 - 10.

Saturday 4th July. B&DBA Mixed Premier 5 - A Team Away versus Poole Park B. The A Team bounce back with a resounding, maximum points, victory which lifts them into 4th place. Rinks 0 - 3.  Shots 32 - 66. Points 0 - 10.
