It was hoped that at least eight members would turn up,ie. two per side. However, It is with great thanks to the four that did turn up, Geoff Robins, Barry Vaughan, Peter Smith and Allan Mason that the work was completed.

Sooki's Curry Night - A message from President Doug Dalrymple.

Dear Members

Well what a grand night it was at the curry night - superb food - excellent atmosphere - and a good time enjoyed by everyone.

Sincere thanks to Karen, Sooki, Maureen, Ken (oh the bandana was amazing), to Paul, Ivan, Brian and Mel for all their hard work providing us with such a fun evening.

Also a huge thanks to those who brought along some great raffle prizes and everyone who attended, participating in the games and raffle. The sum of £286.50 (inc. over £100 from the raffle + approximately £75.00 bar profit) was raised for club funds.

There will be more events throughout the winter months to share the friendship of our lovely club. Keep a lookout for future notices.

Our next event is The Presentation Night on Friday 25/10/24 at the Old Beams - tickets and information on the boards in the clubhouse or Click HERE for details.

Your support at future events, being planned, will be very much appreciated

Kindest regards
Doug Dalrymple
President RBC

Club Finals Day
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend this year's Finals Day but I am reliably informed that it was a most enjoyable day for all of those who took part in or witnessed the event and the matches that took place.
Many thanks to Doug who ran the competitions and to all those who helped out, on the day, to make it a very successful event.
Click on the picture alongside to see the results.
A reminder for last years winners. Please return your trophies to the Clubhouse ASAP so that they can be engraved with this years winner's names.

Aussie Pairs
The Aussie Pairs competition concluded on Friday night. It was a fun 4 weeks, filling 5 rinks, with willing subs contributing to the flow of the competition.
Malcolm Chater and Dave Woods won all 4 games as did Hilary Edge and Debbie Senior so, with both on 8 points it was down to the combined 4 week aggregate score. Shots scored minus shots against. Debbie and Hilary’s aggregate was 27 and Malcolm and Dave’s was 28 making them the winners. Congratulations!
Thank you to all the participants for contributing to the fun and to those who helped set up the rinks each week.
For those who missed Aussie Pairs this year please join us next August for the 4 week fun, 12 end game.
