Saturday 11th May. B&DBA Triples B Team Away versus Pelhams Sharks. It was heavy defeat, 6-0 with 28 shots to Ringwood and 42 to Pelhams Sharks. However, we all enjoyed the game but found the green not a patch on what we are used to at Ringwood. However we all did our best and the result doesn’t really define the game.

I am intending to do a Weekly Bulletin of events, results and other items of interest that happened during the previous week.
Here goes with the first one.
The Harry Wright Trophy got off to a good start last Monday. Good luck to all those taking part during the season.
There were good turnouts for both the Internal Friendly Matches, held on Saturday and the Open Day today.
Saturday was a bit cold, windy and slightly damp at times but was enjoyed by those who turned up.
There was a great turnout at todays Open Day. Although it was cloudy, happily the rain held off. Many thanks to all those who turned out to help introduce our visitors to the game of bowls. Hopefully we will gain some new members this year from todays activities.
Spotted on the Green before todays Open Day. Click on the picture to view full images.
